Free Aphasia Friendly Books
The Black Aphasia Working Group has developed a series of aphasia-friendly books designed with and for people with aphasia.
Rather than simply providing support materials alongside existing texts, the group fully adapted each book to be accessible without sacrificing historical/cultural depth or complexity.
This approach was inspired by the group’s desire to engage with meaningful, thought-provoking topics, not just simplified content.
